PROPOSED SOLUTION FOR CUSTOMER

1.1  A. PROPOSED CUSTOMER SOLUTION (CUSTOMS BROKERAGE, WAREHOUSING & LOCAL DISTRIBUTION SERVICES)

 

Arsanu has reviewed all of the requirements outlined in the RFP and we able to provide all services as outlined.

Our solutions includes four (4) areas: People <> Process <>  Facility <>  Systems

Our business process includes four (4) areas: Scope and Design <> Implementation <> Operations <> Continuous Improvement

The proposal will include all end to end logistic solution consisting of the following:

1      Customs Clearance

2      Warehousing

3      Domestic air and sea freight, land trucking

4      Disposing of packing materials and repacking

5      Distribution/Local Delivery to appointed sites in Indonesia

6      Reporting for the services rendered

 

Warehousing facilities will be located in Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Denpasar, Medan, Batam, Pekan Baru, Pontianak, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Makasar, Manado, Jayapura with ample security, equipment and climate control with a clean and safe environment.  Operations for the warehouse will include a capable warehousing system with the ability for reporting and documentation basis for each movement of materials, bar-coding, loading and unloading of the equipments and ample room for kitting, repacking and labeling.

Customs Clearance service will be mostly done in the Jakarta area with also customs authority in the Medan and Surabaya areas.  Customs Clearance will be done as per regulation of the Indonesian Customs regulations and will adhere to their specific regulation of importation of the required cargo.

Disposing of materials and re-packing will be provided on the warehousing premises for the materials of Customer .

Distribution of materials will cover the entire area of Indonesia as instructed by Customer .  Distribution will be done by modes of land, air and sea.  Express delivery will be also an option for urgent shipment of telecommunication parts. 

Reporting will be done on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and will cover all activities of Customer’s end to end activities.

 

MANPOWER CAPABILITIES

 

Some highlights of our manpower capabilities include:

 

1      The management team has experience in warehouse, consolidation, and packaging operations.

2      The personnel are fully trained in all the administrative, system and operational functions required as specified services to Customer.

3      We ensure timely availability of all personnel for this training and ensure the personnel involved have the appropriate experience and abilities. We provide all the facilities necessary for the training sessions to include conference room(s), projector, refreshments, etc.  All permanent personnel must be fully trained two weeks before the commencement of operations, unless otherwise specified by the provider.

4      We ensure suitably experienced personnel are available to support operations during the first three-month launch phase.  These can be either our own employees or consultants.

5      All launch costs related to staffing and training will be the sole responsibility of the provider and should be identified as a separate cost to the ongoing services.



SCOPE OF WORK

Overview

Arsanu Transporindo will provide an end to end material flow for its equipment for the Customer Supply chain Logistics Service Outsourcing Project.  

Arsanu Transporindo has the ability to move goods smoothly, efficiently and quickly from origin to the appointed destination.  With its comprehensive menu of transportation needs, Arsanu Transporindo can provide an end to end solution from air and ocean freight forwarding, customs brokerage service, materials management, warehousing and warehouse system, inventory control and delivery to destination.


1.2  Customs Clearance

Upon receiving shipments into Indonesia, cargo will be moved to a Bonded Warehouse in which after shipment is cleared thru Customs then the materials can be move to a Non-bonded warehouse or delivered straight to the required site. Each materials to be released from the port to be brought into the Bonded Warehouse must be covered by the Customs BC 2.3 form and must have obtained the approval from Customs.  After which each item to be released from the Bonded Warehouse must use the Customs BC 2.0 form by paying the related import duties and taxes, Value Added Tax (PPn) and Import Income Tax.

 

The option of the bonded warehouse will have the advantages such as:

1      Reduce overall cost for Customer.  No requirement to have TPS and regular warehouse. 2 in 1 warehouse.

2      Materials can be cut to site specification and delivered to site. Only requirement to reissue new invoice.

3      Customer can monitor and control all materials sold by vendor. Can better monitor own Master list items.

4      Vendors cannot switch materials, as items are all in Customer warehouse.

5      Customer has full control of their materials.

6      Customer can re-negotiate turn key projects with lower pricing, as vendors cannot include warehouse charges in cost model.

 

To ensure Customs Clearance timeliness and as per Indonesian Customs Regulation, the consignee must provide Arsanu the required import documentation as follows:

1.     Company ID tax number ( NPWP )

2.     Copy of Import License ( APIT)

3.     Copy of company registration to custom ( SRP)

4.     Copy of company ID for the information specific items/NPIK for special commodity  

5.     MSDS ( material safety data sheet) if DG shipment

6.     Original Packing List & Original Commercial Invoice

7.     Original HAWB/HBL

8.     Original Power of Attorney

Any delay of these documents may result in the delay of the Clearance process.

 



1.3  Warehousing

For the Customer Supply Chain Logistics Service Outsourcing Project, warehousing will be located in the area of Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Denpasar, Medan, Batam, Pekan Baru, Pontianak, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Makasar, Manado, Jayapura.  All warehouses in these sites will include 24 hours security, CCTV equipment, temperature and humidity control, moving equipments and areas of handling.   Each warehouse will be staffed with Arsanu employees in each site.

Racking will be provided in the warehouses for better space utilization and stock control efficiency.
